General Questions

When somebody says to you that you need salvation, what comes to your mind? You may ask, “What are we being saved from?” In simple terms, it is because salvation means being saved, protected from harm, being saved, delivered from some dire situation; to be rescued, to be freed from something. But, in a deeper spiritual sense, Salvation is the saving of the soul from sin and its consequences.

When you become a Christian, you will be saved from the penalty of sin and set free from the bondage of sin. When you put your faith in Jesus and decide to follow Him, God comes and lives inside you by His Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit in you from God regenerates your spirit—this is called being “born again.” You receive the Holy Spirit and become “born again” simply through faith by entrusting your life to Jesus Christ, accepting Him as Lord and Savior.

Question

The Bible teaches that man will be resurrected and face the judgment of God. Those who believed in Jesus for salvation will spend eternity with God. Those who rejected Jesus will spend eternity in hell with Satan. With all of the prophecies that came true, why would one not believe the Bible’s doctrines about the resurrection [ heaven and hell] ?

Questions

God does not send anyone to Hell. You send yourself there. God has done everything possible to keep you out of Hell. He creates you as a person with free will—and not just a robot—so you could make a choice between life and death, blessing and curse, heaven and hell. God gives all the opportunity for salvation. It is worth noting that sin brings condemnation upon the world, and it all began from Adam.

There is no way of getting around or to the main course ( heaven) except through JESUS (Acts 4:12, John 14: 6). And the greatest sin in the world is to reject the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior. C.S. Lewis said, “All that are in Hell, choose it. Without that self-choice, there could be no Hell.” And although “the wages of sin is death,” Paul also said “the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 6:23). While breath remains in you, it is never too late to turn to God in repentance. When we ask for forgiveness, God eagerly forgives.

Questions

God does not make it happen, but sometimes it happen. The devil on the other hand, wants you to think that it is God that is causing you to go through bad things. The reason that God may allow you to go through struggles is because He wants to make you stronger as a Christian. The more you overcome struggles as a Christian , the stronger you become in Christ. We must always keep up the good fight of faith.[ See 1 Timothy 6:12, 2 Corinthians 10:4]

Questions

The Holy Spirit inspired it. In a word, Jesus is the Root, Source, and the very Person constituted by the letters, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 5:39, 14:6). The Bible was written—by the hand of Holy Men of God—to help us believe in him and find life in His love (2 Peter 1:20-21, John 20:31). Even though men wrote it, God authored it. “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correction and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped, furnished for every good work” (2 Timothy 2:16-17).

Questions

Pray for guidance and avoid churches that are not Bible-based. Check out their teachings against the Bible. Most importantly, pray to God to help you make the right decision. Then be sensitive to the way God answers your prayer. By doing so, you will end up in a church that is Bible-based, Christ-centered and People-oriented.
